Bat walk in Cranford Park

Posted by Robert Cumber on May 29, 08 12:04 PM in What's On

Nature lovers can take part in a guided bat walk through Cranford Park tomorrow (Friday).

Walkers will leave from the park's visitor centre, near St Dunstan's Church, at 9pm.

The event costs £2 for adults (children £1) and is scheduled to last about two hours

Education officer Simon Braidman said participants were almost certain to see at least a couple of species.

Cranford Park is home to several species of the flying mammals, including rarely seen brown long eared bats.

The visitor centre is near the main entrance to the park, just off the roundabout at the junction of the M4 and A312.

We'd like to hear from you.
