Last call for veterans' tea dance

Posted by Robert Cumber on Jun 19, 08 04:59 PM in

Veterans have been urged to join an annual tea dance organised by Hounslow MPs Ann and Alan Keen.

Ex-servicemen and women can enjoy music from a military band and a Pearly King & Queen Band at the event next Sunday, June 29.

Those who qualify will also be presented with lapel badges recognising their contribution.

The party takes place at BA's Concorde Club in Crane Lodge Road, Cranford, from 2pm to 5pm.

It was organised to celebrate Britain's third annual Veterans' Day on June 27 and veterans can invite up to three guests.

Veterans who served in the armed forces between 1914 and 1994 should contact Mr Keen's office on 020 7219 2819 or email alankeenmp@parliament.uk to book their place and learn whether they are eligible for a lapel badge.

We'd like to hear from you.
