Heathland pupil scores top marks
A Hounslow student is celebrating after receiving the highest possible marks in his biology AS level.
Heathland School pupil Dinesh Hasla's 300 out of 300 saw him rise to the top out of more than 7,870 candidates.
Dinesh said he knew he'd worked hard but he never thought he'd get such a high score.
In the lead up to results day he had concerns about chemistry and maths, but he needn't have worried as his hard work was rewarded on the day with four As in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Physics.
The brainbox said the result was 'only the halfway mark', and he has ambitious plans for next year when he hopes to pick up further maths and complete an advanced extension award in physics.
In the meantime he's allowing himself some time to relax as he's got a big 18th birthday party planned for next month.
We'd like to hear from you. Send your stories, pics and videos
