Hounslow daffodil dig

Posted by Groundwork Thames Valley on Oct 22, 08 12:37 PM in Good Causes

Youngsters are needed to help plant a sea of daffodils in Hounslow West next Wednesday, October 29.

Children should turn up at Chester Road Recreation Ground with a trowel or spade between 10am and midday to help fellow volunteers plant 1,000 native wild bulbs.

The event is organised by environmental charity Groundwork Thames Valley and children from Beavers School are encouraged to join in during their half-term holiday.

Another daffodil planting session will take place on Saturday, November 8 from 10am.

We'd like to hear from you.
