International delivery for Hounslow family at West Mid

Baby Anoushka.jpg This little bundle of joy, settling in at her home in Ellerdine Road, Hounslow, may only be 12 days old but she already spans the nations.

Anoushka Daga was born last Saturday at the West Mid, weighing 7lb1oz.

Her parents Ritu and Ramesh, who met in Bombay, India, and came to England in 2000, fell in love with the Russian name - meaning little Anna - after spotting it online.

Ritu, a 31-year-old dispensing optician, said her first son Aryan, 3, was thrilled with the new arrival.

"Aryan's so protective and as soon as he comes back from school he wants to do everything for her," she added.

Ritu and Ramesh, a 35-year-old software consultant, tied the knot in Bombay, where they both grew up, after being introduced by mutual friends.
