Cannabis factory discovered in Hounslow terrace

A cannabis factory has been discovered in the middle of a quiet Hounslow street.

Police raided the three-bedroom terraced house in Queenswood Avenue, just off Sutton Lane, where the entire top floor was being used to cultivate the drug, last Thursday.

A Vietnamese national was arrested and charged with producing the class B substance. He is being held in custody.

Det Sgt Paul Carruth, of Hounslow Police, said: "Cannabis cultivation is a problem which has been highlighted nationally and Hounslow has been and will continue to tackle this issue. Residents are asked to report any suspicious premises."
