Hounslow cabbie crashes on Deal Or No Deal
A wrong turn by a Hounslow cab driver made him only the second Deal Or No Deal contestant to walk away with nothing.
Daimon Nelson, of Albion Road, Hounslow, lost £5,000 after gambling all on the hit gameshow.
But the 37-year-old, whose episode appeared on Channel 4 on Good Friday, was surprisingly upbeat about the whole affair.
"If I'd got a life-changing offer of £30,000 or more I would have taken it but my highest offer was £12,500," he said.
"I ended up with £5,000 and the banker offered me the chance to double that if I picked the good egg, but unfortunately I chose the wrong one twice.
"Of course I'm disappointed because £5,000 is a lot of money, but I played the game and enjoyed myself. My friends and family were probably more upset than I was."
Daimon, whose pink cab is hard to miss, added that presenter Noel Edmonds had been 'really understanding'.
