Romeo & Juliet at Paul Robeson Theatre

Bounce Theatre is delighted to be performing William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet at the Paul Robeson Theatre from the 21st-22nd May.

The play is being performed by the company's new ensemble group THEATRELAB. The LAB provides a platform for performers over the age of 16 to train and develop in all areas of theatremaking, with support from Bounce Theatre.

Members were recruited from Hounslow, Kingston and Richmond. They have been working on the play since March, under the director of Louise Pendry, Bounce Theatre's Artistic Director.

The teenagers have been instrumental in defining the meaning of the play and it's relevance to their own lives. Thus the play is a bold, exciting, energetic exploration of falling in love, dealing with conflict, politics and money.
