Peace walk in Hounslow West
A walk to promote harmony in the community will take place in Hounslow West next Sunday, June 21.
The annual Walk of Peace and Friendship, organised by Hounslow Friends of Faith, will take in four places of worship.
Participants will meet at the Church of the Good Shepherd, in Beavers Lane, at 11.30am, before heading to St John's Mar Thoma Church, in Cambridge Road, for 12.40pm, the Shree Jalaram Seva Hindu Trust, in Barrack Road, for lunch at 2pm and finally the Ahmadiyya Muslim Association, in Martindale Road, at 3.30pm.
Bessie White, secretary of the group, said the 'pilgrimage' would help people learn more about the values and traditions of different religions.
