Norman Kember was one of four peace workers who were kidnapped by insurgents in November 2005 and spent four months in captivity before being freed in a raid.

He will discuss how his faith inspired him to travel to the war-torn country and kept him going while he was being held.

Anyone is welcome to attend the free event, organised by Hounslow Friends of Faith, at the Parish Centre, St Michael & St Martin's Church, 94 Bath Road, Hounslow, from 7.15pm. It will be followed by the group's AGM.

We'd like to hear from you.
