Alcoholic banned from Hounslow bookies

An alcoholic has been banned from entering any bookmakers in Hounslow after he attacked staff at the Tote in Staines Road, Hounslow.

Fortune Moyo sunk seven cans of lager on a July afternoon before going into the bookmakers, where he disturbed gamers and abused staff. He was asked to leave but when one member of staff went outside later to take a break, the 37-year-old attacked him and punched him twice on the shoulder.

Moyo, of Sonia Gardens, Hounslow, admitted common assault at Feltham Magistrates Court last week, where he received a 12 month community order, six month alcohol treatment programme, a £100 fine and an ASBO.

Under the order he is banned for three years from entering any bookmakers in Hounslow, Richmond or Hillingdon, drinking in public, entering Lampton Radio Cars in Lampton Road, entering Aircall Radio Cars in Bell Parade or entering Lampton Park.
