I am trying to find out about 'The John Goddard Way' at Feltham Pond, behind the War Memorial. I have tried the library and the council, no luck.
A John Goddard was a colleague of my late brother Will, Young Labour Party of Hanwoth in the 50's, could it be him? or my other brother Tony said possibly a John of the Goddard family of Brentford?

How do I get 2-3 hard copy newspapers from a couple of weeks ago? My nieces wer in a story plus picture and I want to give to relatives - albeit you got their surname wrong!

I am dismayed to see that The Informer , has not publised an article onthe trial and sentence of convicted pedophile and sexual abuser Peter Hennings. Is it not the duty of the local press to keep the residents of Kingston informed, they should be aware that there has been a sexual preditor in there area for years.

We live in Overdale Avenue, New Malden and find that the Kingston Informer deals much more with matters relating Richmond, Hampton, and Twickenham than New Malden and Chessington which are districts within the Borough of Kingston!

Is there an edition that deals with New Malden?

It would be nice if you could deliver the Informer to Locksmeade Road, Richmond. It's about three weeks since we had it last.

I would like the informer to investigate the reason for the car parks in hounslow and other areas fitted with the ticket dispencing machines which give no change. how much does council makes from this robbery if I may say so what is the ruling on that and how can they get away??
I also wish to why parking charge notice issued with the photographic evideance never have name of the street printed on it and those pictures on the PCN or on the web hardly tell you where the trap was ???

I've just spent the day in a police cell. I was falsely accused of common assault and destroying private property. I was given a good beating by a car salesman/ landlord and his business colleague. There was a witness who came forward by butnow 'mysteriously' says he saw nothing and will not make statement or court appearance. I have injuries and now face a charge in the absense of witnesses.

The beating occurred in the car salesman shop. I am a poor man ( akiwi who wants to return home to a suffering family in the wake of the earthquake) who returned one day after paying a £300 deposit on the letting of a little room upstairs. He told me 'you don't get it, you're not getting a penny so fk off!' I sat down sobbing and was set upon by him and his colleague. I covered my head and sat on the flooor in fetal position. I was kicked and assaulted and dragged around the room. I have swelling and bruises on ankles and on the arms near my armpits. Some items in the room were dislodged.

I rung the police on my mobile and they came....before they arrived the man offered me £100 to send them away. The police came and spoke to him first and came out offering firstly £150 if I clear off and then £200 if I don't lay any charges. I declined both feeling hurt and humiliated.

The police were mostly good... but the senior officer said he was 'irritated' by my story and a expressed irritation that I wouldn't just take the money and scram.

Then the police arrested me and locked me in a cell for about 6 hours.

Then I was processed and told to come back on April 1st to the police station or face arrest and imprisonment. I told them that 30 March was my first day in a new job 150 miles away. And in the interim I wanted to go back to New Zealand to be with my loved ones. They said there was no compromise as that was the only day the police officer was on duty.

Today I was contacted by the police. They said that the 'witness' had nothing to say.

I am a carer with NO convictions and I have NEVER been arrested. My job is very trying and sometimes difficult but NEVer have I faced allegations of striking anyone.

I know a number of people in the community of east sheen who describe the assailant as 'full of money ethics' 'hard nosed businessman' 'a thug' 'a poor and lying landlord who promises much to new tenants and never delivers' I have their numbers and testimonies. I have good references for myself but I fear that I will never be able to return to New Zealand to be with my loved ones at this time of crisis in the aftermath of the quake. Also I fear and unjust conviction and a tainted CRB which may stifle my ability to work in my chosen profession again. Also a fine for costs and damages and also the loss of the room deposit being £300 which I initially sought.

Please can you help me, can anyone help me. I feel helpless in this foreign country. I am told that I am naive and stupid for trusting people and not taking anyone along with me int he first instance.

I have just read your article on 20 years since John Lewis opened. When I was young I watched that store being built from start to finish and it got me into construction which I now do for a living. The one thing I regret is not taking enough photographs of this and it was great to see the two in your article. I am a little worried that my email stories and pics may not be getting to Rupert Basham. I formerly has a good working relationship with Helen Clark.

Hi I wonder if anyone could help me. I am looking for my step mother who moved back to hounslow in May of this year. Her name is Sharon Williams or she may have reverted back to her maiden name Sharon Stone. She has a daughter called Jodi . She was married to my father for 10 years and lived on Hayling for more years than than that. She was so kind to me and was wonderful to my father Bill Williams and helped nurse him through cancer until he died. I found out from the nursing home where she worked that she felt she had no choice but to leave Hayling Island and move back to Hounslow. If anyone knows her all I want to know is that she is happy and safe and ok. I know she is working in an old peoples home could be helping alzheimer's patients as she was on Hayling Island

I live in Hanworth, Swan Close TW13 6PA. This property along with other properties of Swan Close, Swan Road and Alders have a common rear access to all these properties.
For month, some unknown person keeps coming into this rear alleyway, at early hours of the morning, and continues to dump old ASBESTOES SHEETS. Now the rear access is blocked and we can not even drive our car to the garage. Local Hounslow Council continues to state that due to NO FUNDING there is very little they can do. It appears we have to live with this hazard waste. Local Councillor also has visited the site. Repeated telephone calls result in NO ACTION.
